Our client in Boston’s MetroWest area, has an immediate need for an HR Generalist.

In this role, you will be a key partner to the HR Director, helping to ensure the daily operations run smoothly and employees feel supported.

What You’ll Do:
• Employee Support: Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees, helping to resolve issues and guide managers through disciplinary processes.
• Benefits & Leave: Administer employee benefits, manage leave of absence requests (FMLA, STD, LTD), and handle workers’ compensation claims.
• HRIS & Compliance: Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS (ADP preferred) and ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws.
• Culture & Development: Help enhance the company culture by assisting with employee training, recognition programs, and company events.

What You’ll Bring:
• 2-3 years of HR experience, with a strong understanding of best practices and employment laws.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems; experience with ADP is a plus.

Sr. Manager- HR & Labor Relations Greater Pittsburgh Area, PA Perm

Our client, a highly respected organization, is seeking a visionary and results-oriented Senior Manager- HR & Labor Relations to join their team in the Greater Pittsburgh, PA area. This is a highly confidential search for a strategic partner who will play a critical role in shaping the future of their workforce and fostering a culture of excellence.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned HR professional with a proven track record of success in complex, dynamic environments, particularly within organizations with significant labor relations activity. This role demands a leader who can translate business objectives into impactful HR strategies, leveraging data and analytics to drive informed decisions and measurable outcomes.

Occasional travel is required. This role manages 3 direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Labor Relations Leadership: Spearhead all aspects of labor relations, including collective bargaining, contract administration, grievance resolution, and fostering productive relationships with union leadership. This is a pivotal area of focus for the role.
Strategic HR Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, developing and implementing comprehensive HR strategies that align directly with overall business goals and drive organizational performance.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Champion a data-centric approach to HR, utilizing analytics and metrics to identify trends, inform talent strategies, optimize HR programs, and demonstrate tangible business impact.
Talent Management & Development: Lead initiatives across talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, succession planning, and retention to ensure a robust and skilled workforce.
Organizational Effectiveness: Drive initiatives related to organizational design, change management, and cultural development to enhance efficiency, collaboration, and employee engagement.
Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing team of three direct reports, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and professional growth.
Policy & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Extensive progressive HR leadership experience, with a significant portion dedicated to complex labor relations in a unionized environment. 15+ years experience in HR and 10+ years experience in labor relations.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic HR initiatives that deliver measurable business results.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
Willingness to travel occasionally to as business needs dictate.
Candidates requiring relocation will be considered.
