Are you a compensation expert with a passion for data, strategy, and impact? Our client is seeking a Manager of Compensation & Performance Management to lead the design and execution of innovative compensation and performance programs that attract, retain, and reward top talent. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of analytics, people strategy, and operational excellence.
In this role, you’ll oversee the organization’s compensation philosophy and performance management systems assuring that employees are rewarded equitably, competitively, and transparently. You’ll partner cross-functionally to deliver programs that fuel employee growth, drive engagement, and support business goals.
What You’ll Do
Lead the end-to-end annual compensation cycle, including salary increases, equity reviews, promotions, and HRIS updates (Workday).
Design and maintain salary structures, pay grades, job profiles, and job classifications to support organizational consistency and market alignment.
Manage compensation and performance-related inquiries, providing guidance to managers and internal stakeholders.
Oversee the full performance management lifecycle: goal setting, performance reviews, feedback, and tracking of key milestones.
Ensure timely and effective rollout of performance programs, including communication and training to stakeholders.
Conduct market and internal pay analyses to maintain equity and competitiveness.
Provide strategic insights through dashboards, reporting, and analysis to inform decision-making.
Support job description and title management, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HR, Employee Relations, and Payroll teams on compensation strategy and execution.
Create communication strategies to promote understanding of compensation and performance programs.
Ensure ongoing compliance with compensation laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.
6+ years of progressive experience in compensation and HR; 2+ years managing others.
Strong knowledge of FLSA and experience performing exempt/non-exempt classification.
Advanced Excel skills; confident working with data to drive decisions.
Workday HRIS experience preferred.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or CCP certifications preferred.
